What is the Ghost effect and why it appears?
The ghost effect is the reflection on the periphery on the interior side of your ophthalmic lens.
This could be due to the oversizing of the eyewear in comparison to your face or if the lens of the eyewear is too big which is called the eye size in optical terms.
Unless the eyewear does not pressure the side of your head, the size is perfect but if you are experiencing ghost effects, you may probably try smaller eye-sized eyeglasses or glasses with Anti-Reflective Coating (ARC) on the inner and outer sides of the ophthalmic lens.

In the case of sunglasses, if you prefer to get a tailor-made pair, you can get inside-outside AR lenses made for your choice of eyewear. Most brands provide AR coating on the front surface. However, there are many other brands that provide inside ARC but with specific designs, you need to verify product specifications.
Some people experience ghost images in the vision of the eye can be due to wrong prescription, optical aberrations in the lens, diseases like cataracts, astigmatism or ring scotoma, etc. This could be a medical condition for which you must refer a Doctor and or an Optometrist.
